Rubber Meets the Road:
Here’s how to make fast decisions on AI without being reckless about it:
1. Decide the Question Before You Decide the Tool
Get specific about the actual problem AI would solve in your business before you shop for software. Speed without a target is just noise.
2. Run a Small, Time-Boxed Test
You don’t need a company-wide rollout to learn something real. Pick one process, one team, thirty days.
3. Name the Skill Gap Out Loud
If your team doesn’t have the AI literacy yet, say so — and build the plan to close it instead of pretending it isn’t there.
4. Separate Adoption From Integration
Using a tool once is not the same as it being part of how your business runs. Don’t confuse activity with progress.
5. Revisit the Decision on Purpose
Because this moves fast, put a date on the calendar to reassess — what was true three months ago may not be true now.
